Xena Story Seasons 1-6

Part 1--Sins of the Past

The warrior princess rode bravely on her horse, Argo, to do what she had to do. Give up being a warrior. She dismounted and tied the horse to a branch to give her room to graze.
The warrior princess removed her armor and leather until she was just in the under garments of her leather bodice. She buried her sword, her chakram, her armor, and her leather in the wood chips and dirt.
The sound of screaming came flooding into Xena's thoughts. She saw the fire, the blood. She saw her evil past haunting her.
Real screams brought the warrior woman back to reality. She quickly hid behind a bush until she saw warlords appear, gathering women.
She heard a man, possibly the leader of the mob, order the other men.
"Take me. Let the others go." Said one brave girl. The warrior princess looked at her. The girl was probably only a mere fifteen in years.
"Gabrielle!" Exclaimed a frightened girl behind her. Possibly her sister. They looked somewhat alike. The man said something to the girl, Gabrielle, and he drew his sword. He went to strike her when he felt someone grab him.
The mysterious warrior hit him across the face.
"Get the others. I'll take care of this one." the man said.
"You're with Draco." the princess warrior said as she removed a cloth from the man's armor. She hit him again. A battle began as the scared village girls and women watched on in amazement as one woman took out an entire group of soldiers. As the man lay on the ground, Xena looked down at him.
"Tell Draco Xena says hello." the warrior princess said. The men all ran off as Xena watched with a slight smile upon her lips. The blonde girl named Gabrielle walked up to Xena.
Xena was wounded a little.
"Thank you so much." Gabrielle said. "You saved my life. You saved all of us."
"You're welcome." Xena said, feeling proud that she saved these girls.
"Please, come to my home. Your scratch looks like it could use some washing." Gabrielle said.
"Okay. Thanks." Xena said. She followed the girls back to the village after many praises and thank you's.
Gabrielle led the warrior woman to her home. They were greeted by Gabrielle's sister and her mother and father. Her mother cleaned Xena's wound and Gabrielle asked her a slew of questions. She wanted to know about the chakram and everything. Gabrielle's parents wanted Xena to leave, so Xena stood, fastening her armor and putting her Chakram on her belt loop.
"What's it like being a warrior?" Gabrielle asked.
"It's tough." Xena said.
"My mother wants me to stay here in Potedia all my life and raise a family. I can't do that. I have all of these creative juices flowing and I can't stay put. I am betrothed an everything, but I don't love him."
"Oh? That man that was with your father?" Xena asked.
"Yes." Gabrielle said sighing.
"He looks nice enough." Xena said.
"It's not the nice part I'm talking about. It's the dull, stupid part." Gabrielle said sighing. Xena laughed slightly and started for the door. "Where are you going?" Gabrielle asked.
"Amphipolis." Xena said.
"What route do you usually take?" Gabrielle asked.
"Don't even think about it." Xena said.
"About what?" Gabrielle asked innocently.
"Following me." Xena said. She reached for the door. "You don't want to make me mad now do you?" She headed out the door, leaving Gabrielle behind.
Draco had learned of Xena's return. He knew she had roughed up his men. He now stood overlooking some maps when he heard that beautiful voice behind him.
"Hello Draco." she said. Draco smiled and turned around.
"Xena." he said.
"You went after that village today." Xena said pointedly.
"I heard my boys got a rough dose of the warrior princess." Draco chuckled.
"I want you to spare that village." Xena said. She and Draco discussed business for a few moments and Draco wanted to know what he got in return. Xena stared at him. She turned to walk and Draco pulled a knife to her throat.
"I've dreamed about being with you in love, or with you in battle. It doesn't matter. Just as long as we're together. But you're not going to give me the satisfaction of either, are you?" Draco asked.
"I'm sorry Draco. I've changed. I'm going home." Xena said.
"You think it's going to be that easy? They're just going to welcome you with open arms? Well let me tell you something. It's not that smiple. I tried to go back. Once. My father almost killed me." Draco said. Xena turned and walked away. She knew it would be hard, but she knew she'd have to do it.
Gabrielle opened her eyes after laying in bed for hours listening to her family fall asleep. She quietly got out of bed and picked up her bag. She had full intentions of what she was going to do, and she wasn't going to let anyone or anything get in her way. Gabrielle tripped over a metal rack and her sister Lila woke up. She sat up straight in bed rubbing her eyes.
"Gabrielle?" she asked. "What are you doing?" Gabrielle walked over to Lila's bed and sat down.
"I'm going to joing up with Xena. I'm going to be a warrior like her." Gabrielle said. Lila laughed as Gabrielle covered her sister's mouth with her hand.
"Oh? You're serious?" Lila asked. Gabrielle nodded. "Gabrielle, I can beat you up."
"Well, you're very strong for your age." Gabrielle defended.
"I'm going to miss you so much." Lila said as she began to cry. Gabrielle hugged her sister.
"Take care of mom and dad. Don't let mother carry the water from the well all by herself." Lila nodded. Gabrielle hugged her again and stood by the door. The sisters waved goodbye to each other as Gabrielle left for her journey.
